 With the temperature soaring around 110 degrees F, the sheep were happy to get rid of their excess hair.
Our new ram as well as the long-haired ladies patiently waited their turn at the shearer's makeshift salon under the trees behind the barn. Just one young lamb was about to miss her appointment and had to be escorted back by Kodi and Fly the Border Collies.
Later in the morning everybody went back into the pasture a lot lighter and more comfortable.
