 Editor Steve Heimoff has followed our inaugural 2005 Tempranillo since it was in barrels and has described it as, "the best California Tempranillo." He added in the Wine Enthusiast Buying Guide Feb. 2008, "Granted, the competition hasn't been all that great, but this wine stands for itself." The rating of "91" and "Editors' Choice" support this evaluation.
Our two 2006 Sauvignon Blanc wines were featured in the Wine Enthusiast Buying Guide December 31, 2007. The 2006 Michael's Vineyard , which was fermented in French oak barrels, was said to show, "the yeasty richness and creamy texture of that expensive handling."
Our steel-fermented 2006 Rooster Vineyard wine got words such as, "Lots to like in this dry, crisp Sauvignon Blanc."
